SIGN SPELL – ZIP & FRIENDS

SignSpell has been a two-year project with our client Signature. We have developed characters and illustrations for 12 children’s books. These books aim to enhance children’s language skills and broaden their communication toolset with the help of Zip and his friends.

SignSpell is used by both teachers and parents to enhance children’s language skills and broaden their communication toolset. Friendly aliens use aspects of British Sign Language to support emotional and kinetic learning, helping children learn different ways to express themselves.

Our unique approach complements phonics based media and offers an additional strategy to remember words and spelling. The ever growing SignSpell range includes online learning tools, fun interactive applications, as well as physical group learning games for use in both the classroom and at home.

SignSpell is created by Signature, the UK specialist awarding body for British Sign Language.
